   Synopsis 

Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs Battleship, an epic-scaled action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Inspired by Hasbro’s classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancée; Alexander Skarsgård as Hopper’s older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane.

In the Hawaiian Islands, an international naval fleet at Pearl Harbour engage in a dynamic and intense battle against an alien species known as “The Regents”. The aliens come to planet Earth on a mission to build a power source in the ocean. Upon their visit, they come in contact with the naval fleet. 

The film is also purported to show both sides of the story, from the aliens’ perspective, as well as the humans’ so the audience knows exactly where the opponent’s ships are.

So what do you get when you added a little Battleship game + Art Of War?? An a suprised startegy to used the Tsunami Buoyant to detect the enemy

The movie started with United States of America introducing that a new planet known as Planet G were discovered and has atmosphere the same as earth and they tried to make a contact with Landsat 7 located at Hawaii. But what they don't know is, the future that lies ahead.

And the story moves on to the Hopper brothers. Stone Hopper, a US Navy and Alex hopper, his young brother who unemployed and need to find a new job for him to be more adult. In a bar, suddenly, a beautiful chic comes in and attracts Alex to tackle it. With a luck to get the chicken burito, Alex broke into a gas station shops just to get that chicken burito. And guess what happen next???

As the time moves on, Alex and Sam are together and Alex, is now a lieutenant on an USS Navy ships, USS John Paul Jones while his brothers is the Commanding officer on USS Sampson. It's the RIMPAC, the joint forces training for navy of 18 nations including Malaysia. Yaaa.. U read it clear as crystals. Malaysian Navy as Cameo.

RIMPAC is not only about the naval war training, it's also a football/soccer competition like a world cup for the navy. Alex make it lose against the Japanese navy command by the Commanding officer, Captain Nagata. And before they both on the sea, they had a little quarel and the jokes are really funny although it kinda a bit serious infront of the US admiral a.k.a Sam's father.

Let's cut to the chase, 5 unidentified known as alien ships incoming to earth, 1, known as the communication ships crash and fall down to Hong Kong killing thousands and now, 3 ships are send to investigate it. And Alex, Raikes and another officer were incharged to investigate. What they don't know is, as Alex touch the alien ships, 1 by 1 started to emerged above the water and the battle begins.

And now, the battleship games begins!!!

USS Sampson fell as the 1st victims of the Battleship and kill in action including all the crews. And next, the Japanese battleship, but barely survive their crew and were bring on board the USS John Paul Jones were Alex, were promoted as the Commanding officer as the captain is killed in action.

As the battle moves on, the radar can't be used anymore and Captain Nagata suggest them to use the Tsunami Buoyant as their tracking system and using a graphical National Oceanic and atmosphere analysis sytem, they were able to detect the alien ships and this, where the original battleship games comes to live but with a little adjustment as the ships can be move. You know what i mean of u have played the Battleship game before.

And comes to the last ships, unlucky, they were destroyed, and it was unforgettable moment where a museum ship to be used as battleships, the last battleships in the game to destroy the aliens and consequently destroyed the communication that the aliens try to established on the Hawaiian island.

So what happen next??? It is your job to know more by watching it. A must watch movie, with a lots of strategy in stake and a good skill for those gamers playing strategy games.

A good movie where even you can just ignore the Rihanna acting in it as the storyline is awesome. With spiced up trough great strategy and "Art Of War", it surely 1 movie that you not gonna miss ever and can't wait for it to be released for download so i can watched it over and over again.
