Now recognised it??? Why did i suddenly up this kind of topic/post?? Well.. recently, i just watch a documentary by National Geographic Megafactories that concentrate on LEGO... And i were really excited to see it... Yaa.. I play lego in my childhood time.. Wonder where all my lego's that i have gone missing... Hurrmmm... Some of it bought, some of it... hurm... Let it be a secret how do i obtained it.. hahahaha..
Back to the topic... after finished watching this documentary... I was suprised that by playing lego itself, it can inspired an engineer in many things.. Such field of engineering that used lego as ideas generator is Civil Engineering... But before we moved on... let's see what does the Mr. Wikipedia or in Malay, Pakcik Wiki has to say about LEGO...

Did you all know that children spends an estimated 5 billion hours playing with the iconic bricks... What!!! 5 billion hours??? Cooollll...
The documentary focus on how the international designers team gathers, exploring, changing, and expressing their ideas on new products... The Lego Police Station... But i will not write on this and focus on what that makes lego inspired engineers.
Well.. actually.. What is it in lego that is related to engineering???
A Civil Engineer who is the adult fan of lego/AFOL said, "Lego is very Healthful if you choose to technical profession. It Really structures your mind to thinks how things works, how things are put together and how things are structurally strong or weak". Cool ain't it???
With the new LEGO Technic/Mindstorm that is the latest product in Lego market, where hardcore adult fans used it to exchange ideas with the lego company. But i never try it yet... Kinda cool of this new products coz you can change it the way you want and the excitement is you can move it by using a software called mindstorm.
Maybe that is one of the reason why i want to be an engineer... Coz i play lego during my childhood day.. hahahaha...
For those who are in the production line, production engineer that's dealing with injection moulding, watch this documentary... Step by step how the production line works, the cleaning of mould, plastics used, and many more...
Anyway... deviated from the original topic.. Try and played lego... Best... And you will amazed with many of the designed that lego has produced... Thinking of buying 1 of the lego product either lego technic or mindstorm... Always playing the lego games, makes me wanna play the real lego that i designed myself...
